Ohno puts all the papers in one document, setting it aside and making a mental note to remind his secretary to take it away for storing purpose. He stands up, debating whether to let his coat stays on or to take it off. At that, he thinks back on the loud and noisy restaurant before he grimaces, taking off his coat and hangs it at the corner of his room.

He pats the back of his slacks, making sure he has everything with him before he walks out.

“Going away for lunch?”

Sho greets and he nods at his general manager, or in other words, his suck friend.

“Yes, and no, don’t flash that bento of yours. I know Jun made it good without needing to see it.”

Sho’s laughter rings like a summer bell and Ohno chuckles before they both walk down the hallway and towards the lift.

“You have been going out for lunch a lot lately. Does the cafeteria’s food doesn’t suit our president’s taste anymore?”

He glares at Sho and jabs his side with his elbow. He doesn’t like it when people call him president, and Sho knows that above everyone else.

“Stop it,”

Ding!

He pouts as they step into the lift as Sho nudges him.

“So what it is?”

“What is what it is?”

“Come on Satoshi, you can’t fool me. You know that.”

He sighs, wondering why on earth his floor is at the top of the building. It feels like ages before he can reach the ground floor.

“I know, and I hate it.”

Sho laughs again and he thinks that Sho may be the only person who dares to joke with him like that. Well, they went to middle and high school together, so that is a bonus for Sho.

“Come on, don’t sulk on me.”

“I’m not,”

He pouts, and okay, maybe he is sulking, just a little bit though.

“So who’s the lucky girl?”

At that topic, Ohno find himself smiling without having the time to stop himself as he thinks back on a certain guy with deep brown eyes, neat handwriting, pretty blush, hairs so black that it looks so smooth to touch, the mischievous glint whenever Nino teases him and the way he cheers up so easily at the mention of ice cream.

“Oh my god,”

He hears Sho gasps and turns around to look at his friend.

“What?”

They finally reach the ground floor and Ohno hurries up, feeling impatient as the clock ticks by.

“You are so in love with her!”

Sho freezes at the lobby and he continues his pace, smirking before he turns to look at Sho with teasing eyes.

“It’s him, and he’s beautiful nevertheless.”

Ohno continue towards his sport car that has been parked right at the entrance, laughing as he hears Sho’s squeal of excitement. His eyes catch Jun who is about to enter the building before they reach out and high-fives each other as a way of greeting.

“Sho is getting excited again about your love life?”

Jun asked, eyes crinkling in happiness and he nods with a pout. He stops by the driver’s door in favour of replying to Jun.

“You need to tame him a bit more Jun,”

Ohno parks at the empty space along the street, rushing in getting out of the car and almost runs towards the restaurant. He can see Nino standing on the outside of the restaurant, welcoming the leap in his heart beat pleasantly.

“Nino!”

The younger guy looks up and how he loves that black messy bang. It doesn’t seem like Nino is that type of the person who will put his hair into various kinds of styles, but he likes it nevertheless.

Nino looks up and beams at him and Ohno smiles a little bit wider before he reaches the younger’s side.

“Sorry, I got caught up with work,”

Nino smiles and shakes his head.

[It’s okay. I came to tell you something though.]

Ohno notices the hint of disappointment in those deep brown eyes and he frowns.

“What it is?”

[I can’t have a lunch with you today. My professor asked us to submit the music sheets before the lunch time ends. I’m so sorry.]

He nods in acknowledgement, hiding his own disappointment.

“Well, it can’t be helped then,” He pauses, and looks up. “Eh, did you come all the way here just to tell me about his?”

Nino smiles shyly, ducking his head down in attempt to hide his blush, which Ohno thinks he shouldn’t have done that because that makes him all cuter.

[Yeah, because, well, I don’t have your number,]

He sees Nino pauses in his writing, looking like he’s wondering whether he should continue or not.

“Please continue writing, I’d love to hear everything you want to say to me,”

Ohno cuts, scolding himself mentally because that was pretty lame things to say. Nino bites his lower lip for a moment, before he continues to write.

[And I’d love to see you today, so, yeah.]

Oh.

Ohno coughs, trying so hard to mask the wide smile on his lips.

“Uh, um, me too. I love spending the time with you.”

He mumbles, looking down at the road as his face heats up. He knows he isn’t supposed to act like this; he’s a 28 year old man, a president for a mobile company for god sake. But Nino – he makes him acting like a high school girl in love, heck he even will writes Nino a letter if the younger wants him to.

They have continued the lunch tradition for two months now, and not a day will goes by without him witnessing that smile and that blush, except for the weekend. He doesn’t want to pry into Nino’s private life yet – no, he is that special that Ohno wants to take this slow. He wants to be more than a friend – more than a lover; he wants to be the one Nino feels comfortable to share his joy and pain with, the one Nino won’t hesitates to tease by pointing out his corny self, and the one that will witnesses Nino’s eyes brighten with happiness every time he laughs.

He wants to be there for him and feels like he belongs there.

If someone says that he’s head over the heels with Nino, he won’t be able to deny it. He is so smitten with this guy, and he wants more than just a lunch.

“Can – can I, send you to your university?”

He stutters because this is his first step into Nino’s life.  And he will understand if Nino doesn’t want him to. He likes him as much as he respects him.

[I can’t trouble you like that!]

When Nino replies, his face is full of shock but he can see the underlying happiness behind those deep brown eyes.

You trouble my heart enough though.

Ohno smiles, bites his lower lip and grins at his inner self.

“No, never think of yourself that way. If anything, it will makes me happy when you say yes. Please?”

Nino blinks, fingers gripping his sketchbook tight before he nods shyly. Ohno has to fist his fingers to stop himself from reaching out and touches that cheek. God damn it, Nino is so cute!

“Let’s go then~”

He invites cheerfully, causing Nino to laugh as they start heading towards his car.

[How about your lunch?]

“Nah, now that I see you, I don’t feel like eating anymore.”

He teases laces with honesty and Nino pouts at him.

[Always full of jokes, don’t you?]

“Can’t help it,” Ohno struggles to pull out his car key from his pocket. “I become overjoy when I see you.”

He sees Nino is rolling his eyes before he unlocks his car, smile staying on his lips as he watches Nino is sizing up his car in amusement. Well, he isn’t those types who like to spend moneys and gold on cars and accessories, it just that he rather likes his blue matte Audi R8 at the first glance, thus the possession.

He sees Nino is looking over at him and before he knows it, Nino is writing again, but this time so fast that Ohno fears for his fingers’ safety.

[You are not some super rich kid who owns a company and big house don’t you?]

Ohno blinks at the question, coughing for no reason before he jogs to Nino’s side.

“Anyway, get in first, its cold.”

He says, grinning as he opens the door for the younger. Nino narrows his eyes, looking at him suspiciously and he ushers Nino to get in, closing the door and runs to his side of the car. Once he safely seated inside his warm car, Nino put up his sketchbook again, this time with a threatening gaze.

[Tell me, or I’m not riding with you.]

“Uh, well, you can ride me instead?”

This time, Nino doesn’t blush at his perverted jokes and the younger is raising his eyebrow as if he’s daring him to make another joke. Sighing and pouting, he resigns his fate in the palm of this guy’s hand before he leans forward and rests his forehead against Nino’s shoulder. He can feels the tension in the way Nino’s body goes stiff but – oh well, he needs to push his luck too sometimes.

“I do works at a mobile company,” He pauses for a second. “…as CEO though.”

He sees Nino is writing again and tilts his head a bit to read the reply.

[And you were so reluctant to tell me about this is because…?]

“Because I want you to treat me the same like normal people deserved to be treated.”

He pulls back; holding onto Nino’s gaze so strong that there’s no way it will break.

“I’m not saying you will try and take advantage of me, no, it just, when people know about my status and all, they tend to be more reserve – more respectful, more distant, more towards a stranger than a friend. And I,”

He pauses, eyes looking down at those chubby fingers and takes a deep breath at the sudden urge of wanting to hold that hand and interlace their fingers together, like how they are meant to be.

“And I can’t have that with you.”

He finishes and saw a glimpse of Nino’s smile.

[You are so smitten by me, aren’t you?]

At that, he laughs, resting against his seat sideway and looks longingly at the younger. God he likes this guy so much it’s making him crazy.

[You don’t have to worry about things like that. If anyone who know better about mistreatment, it’s me.]

Ohno looks up, confused and curious all at the same time, but when Nino just shakes his head with a smile and starts looking out at the window, he let it go. They have all the time in the world, and Ohno is more than willing to wait – whenever Nino is ready, he will be there.

With that, he settles down for a grin – feeling giddiness eating him up at the fact that this is the first time Nino is riding the car with him – and turns on the radio. The slow music of the classic songs echo in the silent car as Ohno drives into the street, and he thinks that there’s no silence he will prefers more than this.
